Spring 2 Term topic ‘The Farm Shop’

This term pupils will be exploring the great outdoors and getting green fingered learning all about plants and what they need to grow. Our topic is called ‘Farm shop’ and pupils will be learning about what plants need to grow healthily and how they can support farmers to produce food to sustain our country. Pupils will also be learning about a healthy lifestyle and knowing which foods are good for our bodies and which are not- the ‘Eat Well’ plate. Within Literacy pupils will be enriched with farm themed stories and be introduced to new text types; riddles and persuasive writing. In D.T we will be making some healthy tasty wraps and taste fruit and vegetables.
