It has been a wonderful few weeks back in the school routine. I say 'routine' but there has been so much going on that we have not always been able to stick to our planned timetable! So far, we have had our weekly Class Masses and St.Francis' creation Mass, a fantastic harvest celebration day in church (where the work of many kind and dedicated parishioners created beautiful displays to celebrate harvest and all of the natural gifts from God), a family Mass and the season of creation work in all classes (you can see our work below).
What a super time we are having this half term! I can't quite keep up with it all and I do hope I haven't missed anything out. As we approach the end of another school year, I wanted to show you some of the highlights. We still have so much more to come with our open air Mass on Sunday 3rd July, stay and play mornings, Summer Social, Confirmation, Beacon Class plays, sports days, an infant trip to Eureka and much more!
What a super evening we had last Friday. Well done to our amazing group of children, who represented school and Goosnargh so well. We were delighted to have been awarded the best new choir trophy.
What a very busy week we have had. Monday began with us visiting St.Mary’s Claughton for a CAFOD club joint workshop. We were joined by Christine and two chaplains from St.Mary’s Blackpool for a quiz and research into Kid’s Zone on the CAfOD website.
On Monday, we had a great time on our visit to our collaboration school St.Mary’s Claughton. We were joined by two chaplains from St.Mary’s Catholic College, Blackpool and Christine from CAFOD.
