Yesterday, I was delighted to see our nearly finished promotional video of our school. There are already two minutes of filming with three to go and I can’t wait to show you all the finished video. When it is ready, I will invite you all in for a Friday assembly and we will all watch the finished product together.

Thank you to all of you who have returned the parent questionnaires. It is so it interesting for us to read your comments and we greatly appreciate the positive feedback given. We continue to make improvements and we respond immediately to your suggestions. I would urge all of you to come to our open afternoon where you can work with your child in class. This is on 11th February. I think those of you who have not visited school recently will be amazed at the transformation. It is only on coming into school where you will truly understand our vision and see what incredible learning opportunities are taking place day to day in every classroom. We can’t wait to see you all in school for a great interactive afternoon. May I remind you all that when we have open afternoons you are all welcome. We have had two last term already and these are a great way to share information about your child. We look forward to seeing you all on either the 8th or 9th February for parents evenings. Next half term, you will receive another written report about your child’s progress but always remember that you are welcome at any time to visit school to speak to us about your child’s learning and progress.

The rock and roll dance sessions are progressing well -I think Bill Haley would be proud! We are looking forward to developing our outdoors. If any of you want to come in and help with this then please get in touch.

I have had great response already regarding the pre-school plans. Please do send the market research forms back and if you know of any parents with young children pass the form onto them. We have plenty spare in school. If you read this blog and you know of any parents who don’t, please tell them about it. It is a replacement of the weekly newsletter, as suggested by our Eco Warriors, and I think it is a great idea to save on paper. Any upcoming dates for diaries will always be on the website.
