And here we have it…fencing at St.Francis’ School!

Every Tuesday, Fairsnape class have fencing lessons and their first lesson was fantastic! This half term has taken off to a flying start already and we have so much planned! Newsletters will be coming out soon and I am delighted that we are going out to consultation for our Pre-school this Friday. If that wasn’t exciting news enough, I discovered that our school is on the front cover of the Lancashire Evening Post!

‘Diddy Dribblers’ is a success in Key Stage 1 and you can see pictures of this after school club on our sports page.

We are looking forward to World Book Day next Thursday (please don’t forget to send your child dressed as their favourite book character) and we are already planning our busy Science and Engineering Week. We will be inviting you in for our ‘Lent Assemblies’ and a list of dates for your diary will be coming home on Friday. It is wonderful to be back in school with some brighter mornings and evenings. We look forward to another enjoyable half term.
