Exciting prospects and market research…
Well, another week has passed and it has been busy to say the least! There have been so many fantastic things going on in school that I find it hard to remember them all. We have had our promotional video made, rock and roll dance lessons, a space constellation in Beacon class and rocking Robins in Parlick! The Chinese Takeaway in Reception class is going down a treat and the children are engaged in learning about other cultures and traditions. Our school council are heavily focused on The Year of Mercy and raising money to buy wells and water sanitisers for other Countries.
I have been very busy in liaising with the Education Authority in preparation to have a Pre-School on site. In light of these plans, I am conducting some market research and would like to know your views on demand for a pre-school. My thoughts are that this would greatly benefit school, parents and the little ones who would come to our pre-school. We have so much to offer and it would be a privilege to extend our school age range in order to offer an extended provision. Next week I will be sending you a letter, which I will use to gather some information. I will outline the proposed plans when, and if, this goes out to consultation with you all. This is a preliminary stage so I can have an idea of numbers, interest and needs of current families with childcare. I thank you for your support in advance.
I have made enquiries about our roads being gritted and have informed the authority that Horns Lane is incredibly icy. I will contact them again on Monday as a follow up if the roads remain the same.
Have a lovely weekend.
