Bonjour! World Book Day, Ash Wednesday and more…
Welcome back everybody! We are looking forward to another great half term. A newsletter, including dates for your diary, will be sent home this week. Please don’t forget that your child/ren will need to come into school next Thursday (2nd March) dressed as their favourite book character.
Ash Wednesday Mass will be during school time next Wednesday (1st March). The time is yet to be confirmed by Fr.Sony but I will let you know as soon as possible via our school text messaging service.
Before we broke up, parents and families of the children involved with the French language and French Café UFA group had a wonderful afternoon together . Here are some pictures of the children in action…
New UFA groups will begin this Friday and all clubs will begin next week, as will music lessons. We look forward to our Golden Assembly this Friday at 2.30pm. Mr Warren will be giving a musical demonstration and any of you considering music lessons for your child/ren can meet Mr Warren and find out what is on offer!
One of our Governors, Mrs Marshall, has asked me to let you all know about a performance of ‘The Mikado’ at The Preston Playhouse on Wednesday 8th-Saturday 11th March, of which she is involved. Tickets can be purchased by calling 07779738607. I am sure that this will be an exciting performance!
